Ok, this is a safe place to admit that you want to do Elf on the Shelf this year, but who wants to add one more thing to the holiday season?!? Don’t worry, this easy Elf on the Shelf printable kit will make you one happy mom. Your kids will have so much fun, too!
First, make sure you have your Elf on the Shelf plush and book. If you don’t have one yet, you can find one HERE.
Elf on the Shelf Easy Ideas
Step 1. Have an Elf on the Shelf Arrival Party
Your kids will love having an Elf on the Shelf Arrival party! This will be a fun way to kick up this holiday season. The decorating will be super easy for you because you can print off the Free printables HERE.
If you make it here after your Elf has already arrived, don’t worry, you can have a party at any time!
The FREE Elf on the Shelf arrival party printables include:
- 8×10 “I’m Excited to Be Here” Sign
- Cupcake Toppers (can be used for other food)
- Napkin Wraps
- Water Bottle Wraps
- Blank Food Tents
- “Be Merry” Small Banner
These printables are on 8 pages if you print them all and you can print at home or from an office store. I like to use white card stock like this kind.
Step 2: Decide the Elf on the Shelf Ideas You Want to Use
Now is the time to scan Pinterest to collect the Elf on the Shelf ideas you want to use. Or, you can print the ideas I have already made for you. These ideas have daily cards from your Elf. Also, there are 13 printable props, games and activities!
One of my favorite ideas from the printable kit is to hot glue googly eye balls onto bananas! The card from the Elf says, “My friends are watching you!” Your kids will get a good laugh out of that one.
Another fun printable from the kit is the Letters to Santa activity. This will save you a lot of time from having to find a cute one to print off!
Step 3: Set Up Your Calendar of Ideas
Third, get yourself ready in advance so you don’t have to think up a new idea at night when you are tired. You can do this by setting up the ideas on a calendar right now. My FREE printable kit has blank calendars and ones that are pre-filled in with the ideas for you!
I would love to see you using these printables! Please tag me on Instagram @CoralBalloon. I will comment on your picture and you will make my day! I love seeing how creative you all are!
